Golden King Crab Closure notice for East Central Area

The Alaska Department of Fish and Game announced today that the commercial golden (brown) king crab fishery in the East Central Area will close at 12:00 noon Thursday, February 26,2009.

Sitka Sac Roe Herring Announcement Posted

The GHL for the 2009 Sitka Sound Sac Roe fishery is 14,504 tons.  This is a 5% decrease from the preliminary announcement this fall.

Senator Gregg Withdraws His Name for Secretary Of Commerce
